Chemical Indicators
Integrators – Chemical integrators are placed within a pack/pouch to verify sterilization conditions have been met at point of placement. Integrators completes colour change after sufficient exposure to critical parameters. Colour change complete at a point equivalent to exposure needed to kill Biological Indicator.
Process Indicators – Process indicators are intended to be placed on the outside of a pack /pouch to distinguish processed from unprocessed items. Chemical indicator changes colour when exposed to sterilizer.
